Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana celebrated World Environment Week with great zeal and fervor. Week began with Poster Making Activity in which students of Class IV left the judges spellbound with their posters on the topic ‘Healthy Environment, Healthy Life’. As a part of ongoing activities for Environment Week students of Class VI participated in ‘Nature’s Lab: Experiments and Games.’ Students of Class VIl exhibited their talent by participating in Creative Writing Competition centred around the captivating theme of ‘Planet’. Class VIII students showcased their creativity and culinary skills by participating in the ‘Healthy Platter’ activity. They prepared a variety of nutritious and delicious dishes, highlighting the importance of healthy eating. Students from Classes IX to XII participated in an exciting Inter House Quiz, ‘Nature’s Brain Buster’ which highlighted students’ sharp intellect and passion for environment conservation.Principal Mona Singh commended the participants for their dedication and enthusiasm. She emphasized that it is the need of the hour to protect our precious environment, and efforts of the students have truly highlighted the importance of environment conservation.Result of Quiz:Baba Fateh Singh House was declared the winner.
