Janmashtami – the Birth Anniversary of Lord Krishna was celebrated with full fervor and devotion by the little Nakians of Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension. The Kindergarten Wing was decorated with fresh flowers. The spirit of festivity was enhanced by the Images of Krishna’s infancy placed in a cradle. Children came dressed in ethnic wear as lord Krishna and Radha. Teachers while addressing the kids spoke about the importance of the day and significant message was covered in every moment of the celebration. This festival taught kids about ending of darkness and they also learnt about the rich mythological history of our country. The celebration was truly entertaining for the children.
