CISCE Zonal Yoga Competition was organised by GNPS Model Town Extension in which young Yoga enthusiasts from various CISCE schools from Ludhiana Zone participated with great zeal and fervour.Students showcased their skills in various yoga postures and sequences. Participants competed in different age categories, highlighting their flexibility, strength, and mindfulness.Participants competed in U-14, U-17 and U-19 age categories for both boys and girls.The event was conducted as per the rules and regulations of Khelo India School Games.Participants competed in Group events, Individual Rhythmic Yoga and Individual Artistic Yoga.125 Students from Sat Paul Mittal, Sacred Heart Samrala, Sacred Heart Jamalpur and GNPS took part in this Zonal Competition.Chahat Sood and Harmanjot from GNPS gave an outstanding performance by clinching the first position in their respective age categories. In all GNPS bagged 8 Gold, 13 Silver and 8 Bronze medals .Principal Mona Singh congratulated all the teams for their outstanding performance and saidthe primary objective of this competition is to promote the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle among students.
