The Kindergarten Wing and the students of classes I to III of Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, organised a vibrant and joyous celebration of Diwali, the festival of lights, combined with a special “No Bag Day”. The day was filled with activities designed to teach children about the cultural significance of Diwali in a creative way. Students arrived at school dressed in spectacular traditional attires, while the campus was beautifully decorated with colourful rangoli designs. This celebration was a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn about the significance of Diwali and the importance of light and hope in life. The tiny tots also tapped their feet on their favourite songs and had a day full of enjoyment.
Principal Darspreet Kaur advised students to celebrate a green Diwali, reminding them that true joy lies in protecting nature and sharing happiness.
