Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana celebrated the auspicious festival of Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and devotion. The school premises was beautifully decorated with colourful buntings and flowers, creating a festive and vibrant atmosphere.
Adding charm to the celebration, the little ones dressed up as Radha and Krishna in beautiful traditional attire. Their adorable costumes and cheerful expressions brought the spirit of the festival alive, while a special dance performance by the students of LKG further enhanced the celebration, filling the atmosphere with music, energy and devotion. One of the most exciting highlights was the traditional Dahi Handi (Matki Phod) activity, in which the children participated with great excitement, symbolising the playful and joyful spirit associated with Lord Krishna.
Principal Darspreet Kaur appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation and wonderful performances. She emphasised that such celebrations help children learn about their traditions and connect with their rich cultural heritage
