“Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.”Guru Nanak Public School Model Town Extension, Ludhiana conducted ‘ Punjabi Poetry Recitation Competition’ for its future poets. Students of classes I to III were given an opportunity to showcase their skills. The motive behind the same was to remove stage fright from the minds of children as well as to enhance their self-expression and pronunciation skills. They evinced their notions on various themes and were judged on the basis of introduction, content, presentation, gestures and overall presentation. The spectators got mesmerized by their performance.Principal Mona Singh extolled their efforts and suggested them to be active participants in such sort of activities in future as well.
