Gurpurab celebration to commemorate the 554th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Guru Nanak Public School Model Town Extension, Ludhiana celebrated Gurpurab to commemorate the 554th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with devotion and fervour. The day commenced in ethereal serenity with the bhog of Sehaj Path. Students recited shabads to usher in auspiciousness and prosperity. To propagate the preaching of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, nearly 200 students from classes Nursery to Xl participated in speeches and poems thereby giving the message of patience, harmony and equality.Students and teachers immersed themselves in the soulful recitation of 34953 Japji Sahib Paths. On this special occasion 338 students enthusiastically took part in ‘Kanth Bani Competition.’ Each student received a trophy, a token of appreciation bestowed by President Jasbir Singh Ryait and Principal Mona Singh. A profound religious and divine feeling filled the air, casting a spiritual spell that touched the hearts of all present. The programme culminated with the recitation of Anand Sahib. Ardas was cantillated praying the Almighty for showering his blessings and to bestow wisdom upon the staff and students. Langar was also distributed, echoing the message of harmony and togetherness. Principal Mona Singh illuminated the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and emphasized the need of growing essential values like patience, harmony, honesty, and enduring strength for the collective well-being of the society.
