Guru Nanak Public School Model Town Extension Ludhiana celebrated Earth Day with students from Nursery to Class VIII. The celebration included poster making, nature walks, poetry recitation, educational videos, colouring activities, and creative projects such as making Earth models with balloons and crafting the Earth’s crust using baking soda. Engaging and thought-provoking skits were shown, a Go Green rally was organized, and tiny tots of Nursery and LKG planted seeds and watered them. Students also learned about the importance of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
The principal appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and said their goal was to nurture environmentally responsible citizens. She added that such activities inspire students to take meaningful action for the planet.
